Join us for an evening with Rich Cushman, winemaker
of Viento Wines
Thursday, June 22 from 6 to 8 pm
Tastings and hors d’ouvres - $12 per person
Viento wines are created by Rich Cushman, Hood River native and Oregon winemaker for over twenty years.
The name Viento, Spanish for "wind", was chosen to reflect the constant vibrancy of the wind in the
Columbia River Gorge. His family works together to make limited production wines in Hood River, OR.
All of Viento wines are carefully crafted to emphasize balance, fruit character and the vineyard. New oak
is used very judiciously. They work closely with several exceptional vineyards in Hood River and
Washington's Columbia Valley that are growing varieties beyond the ordinary.
Rich does not ascribe to fashionable techniques of tannin and extractive enzyme additions, concentrators,
or letting lab results direct the winemaking. The art of winemaking with respect for traditions and his personal
style is practiced for Viento. The results are wines of balance, softness and wonderful flavors.

Come and celebrate the best day of the month with us in Bingen,
where there's live music, great Gorge wines, and good friends!
This month, Richard "onehum" Tillinghast will be playing
bluegrass/folk/rock. Enjoy the energetic sounds of the acoustic
slide guitar and banjo.
The "Last Friday of the Month Party" for June is expanding throughout the North Shore in Bingen. A number of other businesses downtown will be featuring Live Music on Friday June 30th.
